SHILOH, Ill. (KSDK) - A Shiloh woman has been charged with assaulting a police officer after being arrested for a battery.

The Shiloh Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Langley Dr. for reports of a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived they took Reflaye Williams into custody.

In the process, Williams spit on and struck one of the Shiloh officers.

Williams has been charged with two counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer, one count of aggravated battery to a pregnant person, and three counts of aggravated domestic battery.

Bond has been set at $50,000.

Williams is currently being held in the St. Clair County Jail.
