PIKE COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) - The farther north you go, the bigger snow piles are and the bigger the chances are that people here could see more snow overnight into Wednesday.
They've already had two significant snowfalls in Bowling Green in less than a week and they could get more. The latest round brought about five inches of snow to this part of Pike County.
In Lincoln County to the south, some Troy residents found more slush than snow when they walked out into the winter weather Tuesday morning.
Snow still covers the ground in Troy, but most of it is left over from last week's storm.
The mayor in Troy describes what fell overnight between Monday and Tuesday as more slop than snow.
Troy had three or four inches of slush but just like in BG crews were able to clear most of it away on the main roads.
Besides more snow, another concern is the slush that's on the roads. That could refreeze and cause a lot of problems for drivers not just on the main roads but especially on the county roads.
