ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A two story apartment building caught fire Thursday morning in south St. Louis.

Firefighters were called to the building at Alaska and Curtois, just east of Interstate 55, around 6 a.m.

Captain Dan Sutter with the St. Louis Fire Department says the building housed eight units, but all were unoccupied.

Two units on the second floor were heavily damaged.

Nobody was injured.

The fire is under control and is under investigation.
