SHILOH, Ill (KSDK) -- A Metro East man who threatened to shoot children faces additional charges.
Shiloh police said Theron Hubbard, 27, was at the St. Clair County Courthouse to be arraigned when he began to fight and resist Shiloh officers. He allegedly damaged the windows of a squad car and tried to escape from it while being transported to the St. Clair County Jail.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Department charged Hubbard with aggravated battery to a police officer and criminal damage to state/government supported property.
Hubbard was already in custody accused of targeting an acquaintance of his estranged wife. Police said he texted her nearly 300 times threatening to shoot her, then target her children at the school bus stop. He was charged with harassment and making a terrorist threat.
