ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged a 29-year-old Northwoods man in connection with the stabbing death of an Illinois man at Laclede's Landing.
According to Schron Jackson, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident happened at 1:50 a.m. on March 10 in the 100 block of Laclede's Landing Boulevard.
The victim, identified as 28-year-old Kyle Roberts of Sorento, Illinois, got into an argument with the suspect, who stabbed Roberts once in the neck.
Kyle Roberts was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, Jackson said.
The suspect fled the scene, but was later arrested.
Prosecutors charged Darael Fentress with voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action.
