ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A fire in a south St. Louis neighborhood caused the partial collapse of a two-story residence Friday afternoon.

The fire occurred in the 2700 block of Geyer Avenue prior to 2:50 p.m.

The people living in the home were not present at the time of the fire, according to the St. Louis Fire Department.

The fire was extinguished by 4:20 p.m., but the home was a total loss, firefighters said.

Noinjuries were reported.
