WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI/CNN) - A Delaware man is accused of stealing hundreds of Philadelphia Phillies tickets.

The 324 Phillies Diamond Club tickets and 81 parking passes were supposed to be delivered to the News Journal Media Group in Wilmington, but police say they were delivered to the wrong business back in February.

Scott Lascala, 40, is accused of signing for them, then giving them out to friends and selling them on Craigslist.

"I'm not sure why he did it. I know that I'm surprised that he thought he could get away with it, he probably should have gone with the old saying if isn't yours don't touch it," said Cpl. Mark Ivey with the Wilmington Police Department.

Lascala was charged Tuesday with theft and conspiracy.

The Phillies have since voided the tickets and parking passes.
