St. Louis (KSDK) - It's only been a week since a winter storm dumped 16 inches of snow in places around the St. Louis area. With the threat of more winter weather looming people were soaking up the sunshine on Easter Sunday

At the St. Louis Zoo, Easter egg hunts weren't just for kids. Chimpanzees and orangutans got in on the action too, putting a smile on little Seth Adams' face.

"One of them was sitting against a wall and was eating an egg," said Adams. "It was funny because another one came over there and tried to take it from him. He was like 'Hey, I want that. That looks good.'"

Seth's sister Aubrey, wasn't into all that monkey business.

"So far my favorite is the prairie dogs."

Paddle boaters filled Post Dispatch Lake while drivers filled traffic lanes.

About the only complaint at Forest park was a lack of parking spots.
