BELLEVILLE, Ill. (KSDK)-- Three men have been arrested and charged with residential burglary.

Officers were calledto the 300 block of Lucinda Avenue in Belleville. The homeowner found a man standing in his kitchen and chased the suspect out of his house. The suspect left in a blue Ford Taurus and the victim was able to obtain the license plate number.

Police located the vehicle in East St. Louis and after conducting a traffic stop, took the three men into custody without incident.

Detectives believe the menare responsible for several more burglaries throughout the Metro East

Wadell R. Savage, 18, of East St. Louis, IL was charged with one count of Attempted Residential Burglary, and one count of Attempted Residential Burglary with a bond was set at $150,000.

Michael E. Rencher, 19, of Belleville, IL was charged with two counts of Residential Burglary, and his bond was set at $150,000.

Vincent K. Pitts, 22, of Belleville was charged with one count of Residential Burglary and a bond set at $100,000.

All three subjects are being held at the Belleville Police Department and detectives continue their investigation.
