ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - On the heels of the bank card security breach at Schnuck's grocery stores, NewsChannel 5 has learned of another breach, this one affecting hundreds of customers at a St. Louis bank.

The breach involves Midwest BankCentre, formerly known as Lemay Bank.

It reportedly includes the posting of personal information including names, addresses, social security numbers and earnings information for more than 300 customers.

A spokesperson for the company released the following Midwest BankCentre:
"Late this afternoon on April 8, 2013, Midwest BankCentre learned of a security breach affecting some of its customers' personal information. The Secret Service was immediately notified and is investigating. Midwest BankCentre has no evidence that its bank security system was breached, but it has engaged a forensic firm to investigate the source of the breach, including all of its vendors. Midwest BankCentre is currently contacting all customers affected and will also be offering those affected free LifeLock identity theft protection. Bank staff will be available to assist customers who have any questions about their accounts."
