(KSDK Sports) --Riding a four game winning streak, the Blues are not resting. Today they made an internal move to bolster their offense, possibly inresponse to therecent injury to Andy McDonald. Today the Blues recalled forward Dmitrij Jaskin from the Blues' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Jaskin, 20, dressed in 51 games for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's (QMJHL) Moncton Wildcats leading the club and ranking 5th league-wide with 99 points (46 goals, 53 assists) to go along with 73 penalty minutes.
In addition, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward was named the QMJHL's first star of the month for November 2012 and January 2013 while he also earned first star of the week honors for consecutive weeks in January.
Prior to 2012-13, Jaskin spent the previous two seasons with Slavia Praha HC of the Czech Extraleague posting 12 points (four goals, eight assists) and 32 penalty minutes in 63 career games.
The Omsk, Russia native was drafted by the Blues in the second round, 41st overall, of the 2011 Entry Draft.
