ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) - Midwest BankCenter is notifying 109 loan applicants who had personal information exposed.

Midwest BankCenter learned of the breach Monday and posted a security alert on its website.

The Secret Service, FBI and a forensic firm are investigating the source of the breach.

The bank started calling each of the loan applicants who may be affected and is offering them free LifeLock identity theft protection. The breach reportedly includes the posting of personal information including names, addresses, social security numbers and earnings information.

Midwest BankCentre has seven St. Louis-area banks located in Clayton, Lemay, Arnold, Oakville, WingHaven, Pagedale and Fenton. The banks were formerly known as Lemay Bank.
