HAZELWOOD, Mo. (KSDK)- All schools will be back in session Monday for the first time since theHazelwoodtornado hit Wednesday.

The district cancelled classes last Thursday and at several schools Friday because of damage and power outages.

The Hazelwood superintendent said the unexpected closure could delay state mandated testing, but no final decision has been made.

More rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for this week and that's the last thing people need.

Dozens of homes are covered in tarps in the hardest hit area around Lynn Haven Lane and Howdershell.

TheUnited Way is coordinating relief efforts. If you need help or want to help call the United Way at 211. It is a 24-hour service that will steer you in the right direction.

You can also drop off supplies at the Hazelwood School District Learning Center building at 15955 New Halls Ferry Road. Batteries, toiletries, gift cards and clothes are some of the items needed.
