Michelle Shannon moved her family ofsevenand baby on the way to Gateway180 Homelessness Reversed when she couldn't find any other open door.

"I moved in December 9, 2010. That was the worst day ever, but I had to transition to do what I had to do for my kids," said Michelle Shannon, Gateway180 Homelessness Reversed.

It wasn't something the single mother wanted to do, but says it was the only way to save her family.

"I had to choke on a lot of pride just for me to come in here with my children."

In less than a year, Michelle had the resources to move out with her own with her now eight kids. She credits her success to her support team at Gateway180.

"It helped me save money. I came across my first vehicle in here and my job," said Shannon.

Gateway180 has a Mother's Day Campaign going. You can make a donation to the organization in your mom's name and that money will help moms less fortunate at the shelter. For more information go to www.gateway180.org
