ST. PETERS, Mo. (KSDK) - A St. Peters woman has been charged with drug offenses after an accident that killed two people.

Christine Marie Brown was charged with two counts of first-degree manslaughter shortly after the April 13 accident on Willott Road, east of Spencer Road.

On Thursday, Brown additional charges for possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia were added.

Court documents state an officer who responded to the accident seized a syringe from Brown's bra. Six capsules containing white powder were seized from inside Brown's car. Tests confirmed the powder to be heroin.

Brown allegedly admitted she had just purchased the heroin in St. Louis, and the syringe police found inside her bra was used to inject heroin into her arm. She allegedly told the officer she usually keeps the syringe hidden inside her bra.
