ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KSDK) - Thieves have targeted another Habitat for Humanity construction site.

It's the latest case in an apparent crime trend targeting the charity.

Ironically, the organization also received a donation Friday replacing some of its other recently stolen tools.

The most recent theft was at a construction trailer in St. Charles County. Construction managers say someone took the locks off the trailer and stole nearly half a dozen expensive tools.

The break-in happened just before a large volunteer project scheduled for this weekend.

Earlier this month, there were two separate thefts targeting Habitat sites in St. Louis.

At one of the sites, more than $13,000 worth of tools was stolen.

On Friday, Home Depot presented the charity with a substantial donation of items to help replace the stolen tools.

So far, there's no word on arrests in any of the Habitat for Humanity thefts. Anyone with information should call police.
