(CNN) - Hillary Clinton would be the candidate to beat, according to a new poll in Iowa.

If she were to run for president, the Quinnipiac University survey shows Clinton with an 11-point lead over potential Republican rival Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, 48 to 37-percent.

She has a 4-percent lead over Tea Party Sen. Rand Paul, 46 to 42-percent.

There's been extensive speculation over whether the former secretary of state and ex-New York senator will make another run for president in 2016.

The Quinnipiac poll has an error rate of plus or minus 2.6 percent.
