The City of St. Louis partnered with Switch + Contemporary, Bradford and the American Red Cross to create #STL4OKC.
People can drop off donations at two locations between 7 a.m. and 7p.m. Friday. the first location is at Loughborough Commons at I-55 and Loughborough. The second location is at Kirkwood Commons at I-44 and Lindbergh. Bradford will be at the Kirkwood Commons location between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The donations will be loaded into 53 foot tractor-trailers and driven to Oklahoma City.
-Baby Items - Diapers, wipes, formula, Pedialyte or equivalent
-Personal needs - lip balm, Insect repellant, bathroom tissue, feminine hygiene products, sunscreen, eye drops, first aid supplies, wet wipes, toiletries
-Cleaning supplies - bleach, disinfectant, paper towels
-Building and packing materials - small hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, nails, crow bars, saws, screws, work gloves, plywood, Duct tape, heavy duty garbage bags, storage containers, nylon rope, large plastic containers tarps
-Pet supplies - food, kitty litter, pet bowls
-Children shoes, socks, underwear, clothes, sports equipment (balls)
-Batteries (C and D sizes)
Cash donations can be made by visiting the Red Cross' website, calling 1-800-RED-CROSS or testing the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
