ST. LOUIS (KSDK) -- Stray Rescue of St. Louis is seeking to enrich the lives of families this holiday weekend with their Memorial Day Weekend Adoption Special, during which all dog and cat adoptions are just $10. This adoption fee will be in effect from Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27, and it includes spay or neuter, vaccinations, a microchip, and training support for up to one year after adoption.
With so many Memorial Day sales throughout the weekend ahead, few can bring an individual or family as much joy as bringing their ideal four-legged companion home to stay. Stray Rescue's $10 Memorial Day Weekend Adoption Special also makes adopting more affordable than ever.
"Not only is the reduced adoption fee incentive enough to take the plunge and adopt, but I also hope people remember that for every homeless companion animal that is adopted another can be saved from the street," said Stray Rescue founder, Randy Grim.
Stray Rescue is anticipating another sweltering summer, where they will be operating in emergency mode to keep dogs and cats safe during dangerous temperatures. The hope is that this adoption special will find many wonderful dogs in loving homes, so that more animals in need may be rescued.
Potential adopters are encouraged to visit Stray Rescue's shelter at 2320 Pine Street, St. Louis, MO 63103 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and StrayRescue.org to see a comprehensive list of available dogs and cats. Stray Rescue's adoption team will be on hand to help match people with their perfect pets through Memorial Day Monday!
