(KSDK Sports) -- The game last night in Cinncinnati may have been just a "regular season" game, but it gave you a semblance of a game 6, "The Game 6,"with David Freese and Daniel Descalso having really good moments late, and a Cardinal team refusing to die, it's just early June, but that game was something special.

QuickHits: Carlos Beltran, you're unbelievable, you're going to be a Hall of Famer, and you should come back for one more year. I don't wantthe Cardinalsto trade Matt Adams, but I also don't wantthem to just allow Carlos Beltran to walk away.

Can somebody please tell me how it makes sense for the Cardinals to have the best Right Fielder in the national league leave their team?

More history. I don't think it's ever happened, that a catcher hits .350 and catches 150 games. I looked through some names, Bill Dickey, no, Pudge Rodriguez, no, Mike Piazza, no, Buster Posey, no, Roy Campenella, no, Yogi Berra, no. Joe Mauer hit .365, but he only caught 109 games in 2009. This may be the only catcher in baseball history to hit .350 and catch 150 games.

Firepower. We had some real heat last night, Jonathan Broxton in the top of the 8th, Trevor Rosenthal in the bottom of the 8th, and Aroldis Chapman in the 9th. Has there ever been a baseball game in history where you had three different pitchers with that type of heat back-to-back-to-back? I can't remember it, I mean Broxton hit 96, Trevor hit 99 and Chapman hit 100, that was crazy. Rosenthal, by the way, 20 pitches, 17 strikes, I just love his attitude.

Freese' Streak. The best part about that game was that David Freese kept his hit streak alive. You talk about some suspense. First of all, it was the 10th inning, we didn't think he was going to be getting that at-bat. Then he hits a deep fly ball to right field, a fan touches it, Jay Bruce can't catch it, another life.

Then a curve ball, he's 0 and 2. Then he just barely fouls one off, Still 0 and 2. Then, a fastball just misses on the outside, 1 and 2.

C'mon Dave, you can do it, you had the game six, and you can handle this pressure. Base Hit to right, hitting streak is at 19 games, he smiled at first base and he should have.
