ST. ALBANS, Mo. (KSDK) - The Jack Buck Golf Classic will be held August 18 and 19 at the Country Club of St. Albans.
This is the 44th year for the tournament, which is the longest-running charity golf tournament west of the Mississippi River. Money raised goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Two events take place during the Golf Classic: the Jack Buck Classic Dinner & Auction on Sunday evening and the Jack Buck Golf Tournament the following morning.
The dinner will include a cocktail reception with complimentary wine and beer, a seated dinner, live and silent auctions, and entertainment. Tom Ackerman, sports director at KMOX will emcee the event. Tickets start at $65 per person and are available through theCystic Fibrosis Foundation website or by calling 314-733-1241.
The golf tournament begins at 7 a.m. and will include a complimentary breakfast, putting contest, and complimentary golf lessons. Tickets to the tournament are also available online.
