ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Two rulings Wednesday from the Supreme Court will be celebrated by supporters of gay marriage.
First, the court struck down a provision of the federal Defense of Marriage Act and ruled that married same-sex couples should get the same federal benefits as heterosexual couples.
The court also cleared the way for same-sex marriage in California.
Stacie Stift of Pride St. Louis, Inc. joined NewsChannel 5's Steve Patterson live during the 10 a.m. show to talk about the rulings.
