(CNN) - Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy tweeted his opinion on the latest Supreme Court decision on gay marriage, but almost immediately took it down.

Cathy tweeted "sad day for our nation, founding fathers should be ashamed of our generation to abandon wisdom of the ages regarding cornerstone of strong societies." He took it down, but not before some people took a screen shot of it.

Cathy created controversy last year when he said his company supported the biblical definition of family.

This time around the company said Cathy is entitled to his opinions but the restaurant is most concerned with food.

No word from Cathy himself.
