ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The FBI is looking for a bank robber they're calling the "I-55 Bandit."

According to the FBI, the same man is responsible for robbing four banks along Interstate 55 since May 2013.

The suspect, described as a man between the ages of 18 and 25, has used a demand note during each robbery. He has not shown a weapon, but has implied he is armed.

He stands between 6'0" and 6'3" tall with a thin build and short brown hair.

The first robbery occurred May 6 at the Scott Credit Union in the 1000 block of S. State Route 157 in Edwardsville, Ill. Nine days later he hit the U.S. Bank in the 500 block of Bailey Road in Crystal City, Mo.

The suspect is accused of robbing the First State Community Bank in the 1600 block of N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau, Mo. on May 21.

The most recent robbery happened July 2 at the Commerce Bank in the 900 block of Jeffco Boulevard in Arnold, Mo.
