St. Louis (KSDK) - After two days of deliberations, a jury of six women has acquitted George Zimmerman.
The former neighborhood watch volunteer was charged with second degree murder in the 2012 shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman admits to shooting the teen, but says it was in self-defense.
The case sparked protests across the country, with thousands taking to the streets to demand justice.
