CNN - A NASA satellite captured images of a monster storm on track for the northern Philippines.

The storm, called super-typhoon Utor, has winds as strong as 124 miles per hour.

Utor hit the island of Luzon off the Philippines east coast the hardest, damaging hundreds of homes early Monday.

At least two people are dead.

The storm has weakened into a typhoon and is heading into the South China Sea.
