ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A European daredevil will jump out of a plane and soar over downtown St. Louis in a wing suit Friday.

Alexander Polli will also be gliding over Busch Stadium before the game against the Atlanta Braves. The Italian-Norwegian daredevil plans to glide west to east over the St. Louis skyline and across the Mississippi River into Illinois at 6 p.m.

The plane will drop him at 5,000 feet but he'll glide mostly at 2,000 feet at speeds up to 130 mph. Alex says he's never considered these stunts dangerous.

"I see a lot more potential risk in driving a car or a motorcycle. I don't own a motorcycle because of that. I'm the type of guy that puts a seatbelt on in the back of a taxi when most people don't, because I'm not in control," Polli said.

Alex's landing location is being kept secret. But why St. Louis? Alex is here to help launch a free app invented by a Chesterfield man called SceneTap. To see more of Alex's videos, click http://alexanderpolli.com. For more on SceneTap click target="_blank">http://scenetap.com/.
