CARLINVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - Three people were arrested in Macoupin County Friday for possessing meth-making materials.

Authorities conducted a "knock and talk" Friday at 525 West 1st South Street, Apt. 4. Inside the apartment, police found an active meth lab.

Denzil Ridenour, 44, has been charged with participation in methamphetamine manufacturing and unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material.

Ridenour is currently being held at Macoupin County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

An hour later, authorities did another "knock and talk" at 926 Crittenden St. Randy Cairns, 28, and Ashley Crenshaw, 23, have since been charged with possession of methamphetamine manufacturing material, possession of methamphetamine precursor and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

Cairns and Crenshaw are being held at Macoupin County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

The Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team was called in to remediate the scenes.
