LOS ANGELES (KSDK) - St. Louisan James Irwin has been chosen to be a contestant on "The Voice."
James first auditioned last season but none of the four judges turned their chairs around to choose him for their team.
Since his first appearance on the show, James quit his job to concentrate on making music and his technique.
Tuesday night he sang "Losing My Religion" by R.E.M. All four judges - Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton - turned their chairs in the first few seconds of his performance.
In the end, James chose become part of Team Adam. He said he chose Adam because he "felt honest."
Back in March, Jamesjoined NewsChannel 5 to talk about his experience with the show. On Wednesday, he will return to talk about his most recent experience.
