HERMANN, Mo. (KSDK) - In the picturesque town of Hermann, Mo. there's a place where the work being done inside is as beautiful as the view outside.

"I would dare to say we may be the second longest industry running in Hermann right now," said Muriel Brison, director of River Bluff Industries Incorporated.

Since 1979 employees at River Bluff Industries have had a hand in creating countless products.

"We package the table legs for that little stool that's so hot," said Brison.

They assemble cots for daycares, run a thrift store and even do laundry for several of the B&Bs around town.

"Just whatever we can get our hands on," said Brison.

But more importantly, each task gives these employees purpose.

"We like to concentrate on showing people our capabilities rather than our disabilities," Brison said.

Twenty-two employees from all over Gasconade County put their talents to good use and prove they're just like the rest of us.

"We're going to work just like everyone else, we're earning a paycheck just like everyone else and that's important," said Brison.
