ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Five families will get the keys to their new homes Tuesday as Habitat for Humanity dedicates five new homes in the historic Cardondelet neighborhood.
The dedication comes just months after thousands of dollars of tools were stolen from the build sites.
One of the houses - at 7700 Michigan Avenue - will be open for tours after the dedication celebration, which is slated to take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Ivory Theatre at 7620 Michigan Avenue.
Habitat for Humanity has built more than 330 homes in the St. Louis area. According to the USGBC, Habitat for Humanity St. Louis is the largest producer of LEED Certified Platinum single-family detached homes in the country.
