ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - There's a rush for tickets to be one of the 45,000 fans who get to witness Wednesday's elimination game in person.

Ticket prices shot up $17 when the Cardinals secured a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday, forcing a fifth game in the National League Division Series. The game is sold out, so if you're looking for tickets, using a secondary market is your best bet.

As of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, 4,000 tickets were for sale via StubHub. The cheapest ran for$62.50. According to TiqIQ - a company that tracks ticket prices - the average ticket is selling for $254.

To give you an idea of how much that has climbed, the average cost to catch the first game in the series was $67.
