FLORISSANT, Mo. (KSDK) - Two girls missing in north St. Louis County have been found, according to Florissant police.

Dominique Cherry-Jones and D'Shay Knox had been reported missing since Oct. 2, and the girls were found at a relative's house in north St. Louis, according to Florissant Police spokesman Andy Haarmann.

Neither girl was harmed.

Haarmann said there were no signs of the girls being in danger and had run away from home. The police received a number of reports of sightings of the two girls during the course of the investigation. The incident didn't meet the criteria for an AMBER Alert, Haarmann said.

The police department invested more than 300 hours into the search, Haarmann said. The police are still investigating the cause of why the girls ran away.
