ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The St. Louis Cardinals are taking on the Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-seven National League Championship Series.

The Cardinals moved on to the NLCS afterbeating the Pittsburgh Pirates in Game 5 of the NLDS Wednesday night at Busch Stadium. This is their 10th appearance in the post-season since 2000, and their 26th appearance in franchise history. Be sure to use the hashtag#PostCards when tweeting about the@Cardinals post-season.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR NLCS HOME GAMES
NLCS Game 1- Friday, Oct. 11 - Busch Stadium - 7:37 p.m. CDT (TBS)
4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Pre-game pep rally in Ballpark Village parking lot. That '80s Band will provide live music. Other entertainment and prizes will be available. Fredbird, the 2011 World Series trophy, and the Budweiser Clydesdales will also make appearances. Former Cardinals pitcher and FOX Sports Midwest broadcaster Rick Horton will sign autographs from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

5:30 p.m. - Busch Stadium gates open. The first 40,000 fans will receive a Cardinals rally towel courtesy of Phillips 66.

7 p.m. - Pre-game ceremony begins. The Budweiser Clydesdales will parade around the warning track, both teams will be introduced, and the Cardinals Hall of Famers will be announced. Colors will be presented by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop C Honor Guard. Cardinal Hall of Famer Bob Gibson and current Cardinals Jason Motte and Adam Wainwright will throw out the first pitches. Each threw the final out of a Cardinals World Series Championship (Gibson - '67, Wainwight - '06, Motte - '11). "God Bless America" will be sung by retired Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Generald Wilson during the seventh inning stretch.

NLCS Game 2 - Saturday, Oct. 12 - Busch Stadium - 3:07 p.m. CDT (TBS)
12 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Pre-game pep rally in Ballpark Village parking lot. DJ Todd Thomas will provide music. Other entertainment and prizes will be available. Redbird and the 2011 World Series trophy will make appearances. Former Cardinals pitcher Jason Simontacchi will sign autographs from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

1 p.m. - Busch Stadium gates open. The first 40,000 fans will receive a Cardinals rally towel courtesy of Purina.

2:45 p.m. Pre-game ceremony will begin. The two all-time winningest Cardinals managers, Red Schoendienst and Tony La Russa, will throw out the first pitches.

TRANSPORTATION
The Missouri Department of Transportation will limit road work when the Cardinals are playing at home during the post-season. MetroLink will have extra staff on hand during the home games to help with baseball crowds. Additional service will be added as necessary. You can find the nearest park-and-ride MetroLink stop through Metro's website.

RALLY EVERYONE DAYS
Local businesses, schools, and other organizations are encouraged to help kids in our community by participating in Rally Everyone Day (RED). The effort was launched during the 2011 post-season, and is the team's version of an office dress-down day. Participating organizations make a donation to Cardinals Care in exchange to wearing Cardinals gear to school or work. To participate,register your organization through the Cardinals' website. MERCHANDISE
Post-season merchandise is available in the Team Store, which will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. during the NLCS. On game days it will close 30 minutes before the gates open and then reopen when fans are allowed inside the stadium. There will be general post-season and Central Division Champions merchandise available, as well as new NLCS matchup items including hats, t-shirts, balls, pennants, pins, and more. The official locker room t0shirt will be in stock. It is also available in women's and kids sizes.

Cardinals Authentics in Ford Plaza is the only place to get official, game-used, limited edition, and autographed memorabilia.

The Cardinals Magazine ($5) and the Cardinals Yearbook ($15) can be purchased through the Team Store or online through the Cardinals' website.

FOOD
New post-season food items will be on the menu at Busch Stadium, including Wasabi Sushi Rolls. Sushi chefs will be on-site at the Asian Cafes in the Redbird Club and near Gate 1 to make and roll sushi options, which include California Rolls, Philadelphia Rolls, and Vegetable Rolls. Other new post-season food available includes the All-American Grilled Cheese (Section 141), Grilled Cheese Supreme (Redbird Club), Pecan Bacon Dog (Section 599), Pepper Bacon Dog (Section 599), and the Double Dog Dare Ya (Section 599).

A new souvenir beer and soda cup has been created for the NLCS. When the weather is cooler gourmet hot chocolate and apple cider cocktails will be available.

BUSCH STADIUM POLICIES
Allowed
- Bags allowed inside the stadium must meet Major League Baseball's standard size restriction of 16"x16"x8". They will be inspected before entry.
- Small, personal cameras will be allowed inside.
- Non-alcoholic beverages such as water and soda in open cups or clear, plastic bottles, no larger than two liters, are allowed.
- Small banners and signs. They must not hinder or interfere with a ball in play or obstruct thte view of another guest.

Not allowed
- No alcohol, bottles, cans, thermoses, hard-sided coolers, hard plastic cups/mugs will be permitted.
- Professional-sized camera equipment.
- Smoking is not allowed.

Long lines should be expected at the gates, so plan for extra time to enter the stadium. Guests who wish to leave but would like to return during the same game must have their hand stamped at Gates 1, 2, or 4 as they exit. They will also receive a re-entry card they must show with their stamped ticket and stamped hand upon re-entry.
