EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KSDK) - Waste Management will soon launch construction on a first of its kind facility in Illinois to fuel its special fleet of vehicles.
The Milam Renewable Natural Gas Facility is being built in East St. Louis, at the site of the Milam Recycling and Disposal Facility. Groundbreaking will happen later this year.
Waste Management of Illinois operates more than 100 CNG vehicles, and the gas generated from this facility will be used to power the vehicles.
