ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) - A Florida teen has become a national sensation after standing up before a congregation at St. Mark Missionary Church in St Petersburg and asking that "anyone" adopt him.
Davion's only mother died earlier this year, but he's lived with foster families since he was born.
Now 15-years-old, he stays at a group home and in September he decided to proactively make his dream come true.
He spoke before the congregation at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, in St. Petersburg asking anyone to adopt him.
While he hopes for a family, Davion says he has a plan either way.
"If I did not have a family by the time I'm 18, I still have a college fund, if I still get the funds, and I would use that as an advantage to still have a chance at life to get my degree."
