ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KSDK) - Blues fans and many businesses, have been suffering through the NHL lockout. But this weekend, pro hockey returns to the Scottrade Center. And several businesses are hoping the Blues bring back the big bucks.
"We were here for baseball season, had to let a few people go when hockey didn't start up after that. A little bit of football here. We're going to pick up some staff and load up on the beverages," said Sean Stanton, general manager of Maurizio's Pizza & Sports Bar.
"Many of the businesses, especially the businesses in the area of Scottrade Center, are dependent on events and it's great to have them back on the ice," said Frank Viverito, St. Louis Sports Commission.
