St. Louis (KSDK) -- A special homeless boy's dream will come true.

Mack Robertsonhelped break ground Tuesday morning totransform aparking lot into a backyard he has always wanted. It will have a hands-on garden and a track for go-carts.

The Gateway180and others raised $90,000 for the project.

Last year, the organization interviewed children at the shelter abut what the hardest thing was about being homeless. Mack responded, "not having a backyard."

His backyard will be complete this fall.
