St. Louis (KSDK) - Tickets to the National League Championship series games are already going to run you big bucks, and if you add on all of those hot dogs and sodas you want to save every penny you can during a playoff game.

There will be free meter parking in select areas Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. until 30 minutes after the end of the Cardinals-Giants game.

The spaces where overtime parking will not be enforced are bounded by Tucker, Chouteau, Locust, and the Mississippi River.

You have to remember though that violating yellow curbs, bus stops, fire hydrants, and of course disability parking rules are still going to get you a ticket.
