Fairview Heights, IL (KSDK) - A 57-year-old Fairview Heights, Illinois man has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after a road rage incident.

Fairview Heights police say they received a call about an incident on westbound Interstate 64. The caller said a man pulled out a gun and pointed it at him and his car.

The victim was able to provide a description of the suspect's car and the direction in which the suspect traveled.

Fairview Heights police spotted the suspect and stopped him near the intersection of Circle Drive and E. O'Fallon Drive.

Michael J. Pasterski was taken into custody by police, during which police say he resisted, and was tasered.

Officers say they found a loaded handgun, cannabis, and drug paraphernalia in Pasterki's possession.

Pasterski is held at the St. Clair County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
