KIRKWOOD, Mo. (KSDK) - Major renovations should finally move forward at Kirkwood High School.

On Monday night the school board approved using money from a maintenance account to complete the second phase of projects at the high school.

The renovations will include new bleachers that are more accessible for disabled people, a press box, and new restrooms and a new concession area.

Back in 2010 voters turned down a tax increase that would have paid for an indoor pool and improvements to the high school field.
