St. Louis (KSDK) - St. Louis police say a 16-year-old was shot during a flash mob Saturday night on Laclede's Landing.

Authorities say groups of young people from across the metro area decided to meet around 10.p.m. Saturday night in the 200 block of Washington.

One of the people involved with the gathering pulled out a gun and fired several shots.

A 16-year-old was hit in the ankle.

Marijuana was discovered on the victim when he arrived at the hospital.

He was released into his parent's custody, but will face a marijuana procession charge.
