ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - It was nearly three years ago when St. Louis' only classical radio station signed off after 62 years on the air.

KFUO was where listeners went to hear works from their favorite composers and Saturday night broadcasts of the St. Louis Symphony performances.

But now there's a new classical radio station in town.

Jim Connett is the general manager of RAF-STL at 107.3 on the FM dial. He was the program director at KFUO for 19 years.

RAF-STL officially went on the air April 8.
