CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KSDK) - Investigators with the Chesterfield Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating a man who robbed a local gas station Monday morning.

According to Captain Steven Lewis, a police spokesman, the robbery took place around 10:10 a.m. at the Shell gas station in the 15500 block of Olive Boulevard. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and police believe an accomplice drove the getaway vehicle.

Police described the suspect as an African-American man wearing a grey shirt, grey sweatpants, a white wrist band and black flip-flops.

The getaway vehicle was described as a dark-colored or black Ford Fusion with Missouri license plates D9045-AB, Lewis said.
