ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KSDK) - A student at St. Charles Community College was arrested Tuesday for sending out a tweet that police say contained terroristic threats.

An employee at the college tasked with monitoring tweets sent on campus told police that she saw a threatening tweet written by Emily Kaitlin Cole Tuesday. Officers responded to the administration building, where Cole was enrolling for classes. Police say she became upset with a counselor, which is what prompted the tweet.

"SCC is about to get the ugliest side of me," the tweet read. "If you see me on the news, don't be surprised. S*** is about to get real. You'll see it on the news. Probably because I'm gonna kill something, these... idiots I swear I'm gonna throw a chair across, about to drop out of school bc SCC is the biggest S*** hole I've ever had to deal with...this dude is gay. I got him. Fat mother******."

Cole was arrested in the administration building and taken to the campus police department for questioning. She admitted to sending the tweet and was taken to St. Charles County Jail.

She has been charged with disturbing the peace and making a terroristic threat. She is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.
