CORRECTION: The garage sale will only be held at 416 Ballman Avenue. The City of Ferguson will not allow them to have the garage sale at the Glaser's Drugs because they do not have an occupancy permit. Ballman Avenue will be the only location for the garage sale.

FERGUSON, Mo. (KSDK) - A garage salefacilitated by a boy whose mother is battling breast cancer has grown so large it's been moved to a parking lot.

NewsChannel 5first told you about 12-year-old Devon Melton, who wants to raise money for his family. His mother, Christina Craig, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Originally the garage sale was going to be held in a neighbor's garage, but it has been moved to allow forthe size it has become.

A local business owner says tables, signage, and other accommodations have been donated for organizational purposes.

The garage sale will now be held from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 44 N. Florissant Road, Ferguson, Mo. 63135, the old Glaser's Drugs.
