ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Three cars were involved in a serious accident in north St. Louis.

The accident happened shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday at Hall Street and Riverview Boulevard. One of the three vehicles burned. Two people were inside that vehicle and escaped on their own.

The burned car was hit by a car which crossed from the southbound lanes of Hall Street into the northbound lanes. The crossover car had two people inside. They suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The second car the crossover car hit had minor damage. Nobody was injured inside that vehicle.

Hall Street is closed in both directions while authorities sweep up debris.
