ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) – Funeral arrangements have been announced for Brian Davis, the 7-year-old who tragically died in a house fire Monday night.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at St. Matthias Church. The funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthias.
Davis' grandmother and sister were also in the home when the fire broke out. The sister was able to walk out the front door, and the grandmother had to jump out of a second story window, breaking her heel. The cause is currently under investigation by the St. Louis County Bomb and Arson Unit.
The family is in need of donations. Monetary donations can be made at any U.S. Bank through the Brian Davis Jr. – Sanders Memorial Fund.
Clothing, gift cards, and home goods donations can be dropped off at Bierbaum Elementary School. His father is in need of size 15 dress shoes for the funeral, and his mother is in need of clothing. She wears a size medium/large.
Patrick Ferris, a "beer man" at Busch Stadium, will be donating all of the tips he makes Saturday night at World Series Game 3 to the family. He will be working in Section 261 if you are at the game and would like to contribute.
"At first I was hoping just to maybe hope pay for some of the funeral, who knows maybe we can even get them a new home. Let's take it as far as we can and I know with Cardinal Nation backing me up the possibilities are endless," said Ferris.
