ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – The details of a preliminary settlement between Schnucks Market and customers impacted by a computer glitch that breached their debit and credit card accounts is anticipated to be released later in the day on Thursday.
The St. Louis Circuit Court reached the settlement on Wednesday. The exact terms are fourthcoming, and will identify which customers are entitled to file a claim in the case and the exact amount of their reimbursement.
The settlement is only preliminary, and won't be finalized without court approval.
This affects customers whose debit and credit cards were compromised between December and March.
There's no time table for when the court will approve or deny the proposed settlement, although Schnucks anticipates that it will be done relatively quickly.
