FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) – A St. Louis woman says she was sexually assaulted by two men who held her and knife and gunpoint.
The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says they received a call from the 33-year-old woman Sunday. She said she was on her way home from a residence in Cuba, Mo., but was unfamiliar with the area. She said she missed an exit ramp and pulled off along Highway 100 near Villa Ridge to get directions.
When she stopped, she said two men approached her vehicle, one with a gun and the other with a knife. She says they sexually assaulted her, cut her, and struck her with the gun.
Dispatchers directed the woman to the commuter parking lot at I-44 and Highway 50 because she was unsure of her location. From there she was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The woman describes her attackers at Caucasian, standing approximately 5'10" tall, wearing dark hoodies and dark pants.
